I had a great experience with black mountaineering at the wales 7 summit series , I cant say enough about the guides , steve , claire , Tom , John , .The accomation , and food were sufficient . The group came together and gelled really well , this is because of the excellent guides , they had the craic but when the serious stuff was needed they switch to the professionals they are . I recently completed the 7 summits in Morocco's Atlas Mountains with Jason and his team and only have positive things to say - both about Jason and his guides. Jason has a depth of knowledge and experience of all forms of mountaineering that is second to none. As important as his knowledge is his focus on safety and whilst the mountains will never be 100% safe, you know with Jason that every possibility has been considered and factored into the plan for that given day. During our time in Morocco we also spent time with families of the local guides and this attention to local culture was a stand out part of the week. Aside from Morocco, we also completed hikes in Donegal and Sligo as part of our training and each of these outings gave me the opportunity to get to know Jason better and understand his approach to the mountains. Just back from the Morocco July trip where we had a fantastic adventure in the high Atlas mountains. Everything about the trip was well planned and fully thought through to help us succeed. From Jason's advice and help in the planning, to the Moroccan guide team we felt we were in the hands of experts at all times. The food provided was fresh, tasty and plentiful every day. The accommodation was also great. As well as the adventure and challenge we also blended very well as a group, helped each other along and enjoyed the craic everyday. The challenges of altitude and fatigue were managed very well by our guide team who helped every member of our group to succeed in our mission of 7 summits.

Recently went on the Morocco seven summits trip. Everything was so well organised from start to finish. Guides were fantastic and knowledgeable and so helpful. The food was amazing!!! And all the extra stuff that was added on to the trip was a nice bonus after all the hiking. Highly recommend. This was my first 7 summit series and I will definitely be doing more.

Just been to wales and completed seven summits of wales … Jason’s team of Claire,Tom , Steven and a John were exceptional. John O’Brien was amazing on Grib goch and so professional and kind . Recently travelled with Black Mountaineering to trek the Seven Summits including Mountain Toubkal in Morocco. It was the trip of a lifetime. Everything was professionally organised, the food was excellent, and the guides were knowledgeable, friendly and supportive throughout. Jason challenged us every step of the journey, but reaching the end made it all the more rewarding. I can’t recommend Black Mountaineering enough. I’ve partaken in several of the Ireland 7 summit series with Jason, Sharon and the team, and also more recently in the Morocco 7 summits series (amazing!)

The professionalism is there without question. Your safety is paramount at all times whilst still benefiting from a carefully structured programme that will challenge you and champion growth.

There’s something more here though, it’s the feeling that you are spending time with friends.

A word of warning though, it’s bloody addictive and your sore feet and tired legs will be wondering why you are booking the next trip before fully recovering from the last.
